Pain Has Its Purpose and Negativity Is Necessary

Sometimes I wish I could escape it or at least predict it.

If we could predict pain and negate negativity, we would simply avoid it (like we try to do now).

If I knew what would’ve happened after I got lost in the jungle and a man offered me his shack to stay in for the night, I would have never went down that path and learned the most powerful lesson of my life. I would have never realized that even an average white male from suburban New Jersey has the courage to diffuse intense rage and violence.

                                “The Shack”

I wanted to escape at first, just like we all do when pain and negativity comes up unexpectedly. We try to avoid the negativity and take a pill to that will take away the pain. We try to escape the one thing that is really our saving grace.

When I found myself in the middle of a domestic dispute where a pregnant wife was trying to severely injure her husband and almost took the life of her unborn child, I realized that I couldn’t escape anymore. Escaping the pain would’ve only made it worse for all three of us. I had to be present, take action, and move through it, so that the hate and violence could change into hope.

Pain and negativity is simply a signal telling you that you need to be present with yourself in this moment and take action in a different way than you have been. Running away from the pain and negativity only makes it linger longer and hit you harder the next time.

To find the peace and freedom that you desire, you must be present with yourself, and move through the pain & negativity by taking action in the way your mind, body, and soul are asking you too.

After diffusing the negativity & pain, and spending the night, I was able to get directions to my original destination from the man. One hour and 15 minutes of hiking through the jungle later, I found myself in paradise, where I was reunited with my other friends while we enjoyed fresh fruit and vegetables from the jungle.

Pain & negativity shows up to inspire you to act in a new way. Next time you experience pain & negativity will you have the courage to take action and move through it?

My husband and i were now happy when Peter could complete his reports using the precious recommendations he obtained through the web pages. It is now and again perplexing just to choose to be giving away tips and hints which usually men and women have been making money from. And we also keep in mind we need the website owner to give thanks to because of that. The entire illustrations you’ve made, the straightforward site navigation, the friendships you will help foster – it’s all incredible, and it’s letting our son and the family feel that that content is amusing, which is certainly pretty vital. Thanks for everything!
