Did you hear the story about the one way to long term pain relief?
After being in chronic pain for a year, two friends decided to make a change.
3 months later, they met for lunch. Both friends exchanged stories about their doctor’s appointments and found out that they were given the same diagnosis.
But there was a difference. One friend still had pain.
The other friend was completely pain-free.
What made the difference?
Have you ever wondered, as I have, why some people are able to completely release their pain while others remain in chronic pain?
Research shows that structural injuries, like herniated discs or torn menisci, are not as closely linked to pain as we once thought. This means that surgery and painkillers may not be the most effective treatment for chronic pain.
The difference lies in what each person and their practitioner know and how they make use of that knowledge.
This is why I have dedicated my life to giving you the knowledge and treatment you need to release pain and increase the quality of your life.
A Session With Me
Every session with me is a unique experience that is designed to find your specific pain triggers and provide your body with the information it needs to release pain and increase function.
This is done by looking at the body from a biopsychosocial perspective – using objective testing, specific questions, and lifestyle modification to ensure long lasting pain relief.
A Step Closer to Pain Relief
During your first session, we begin by exploring the psychological and biological aspects of the pain by gathering information about your health history and the history of the current pain.
Next, we use manual muscle tests and movement assessments to find pain triggers and potential causes of the pain. This provides the information we need to create an effective pain relief plan.
With each session, you will notice an improvement in strength & function and a reduction in pain that we will build on as we continue working together.
Pain Does Not Wait
The purpose of pain is to motivate you to change the way you move through life physically, emotionally, and socially. The longer you ignore the purpose of your pain, the worse the pain can get.
However, you can live a life that is not controlled by pain. A life where pain will come, serve its purpose, and leave without a trace. To do this, we must give your mind and body the information they need by using the advancing field of pain science and pain release techniques to our advantage.

About those two friends I mention in the beginning: They both saw a doctor and were given the same diagnosis, but what made their results so different?
The application of updated knowledge by the person (who is now pain-free) and their experienced practitioner(s).
An Investment In The Quality of Your Life
I cannot promise that I will provide all the knowledge and skills you need to be completely pain-free. But I can promise my consistent commitment to guide you to a better quality life.
Thank you for investing your time in reading this letter. Even if we don’t work together, I hope this letter helps you understand that long-term pain relief is possible.
Won’t I be fine if I just have surgery and take pain killers and NSAIDs?
No. Surgery often leads to more pain, weakness, and compensation when recovery doesn’t include individualized movement and manual therapy treatments. An individualized exercise protocol alone can prevent the need for certain surgeries like meniscus surgery and herniated disc surgery.
Pain killers can lead to addiction and increased risk of heart disease, while never actually providing long-term pain relief. NSAIDs are known to cause stomach issues and impede the healing of muscles and tendons.
On the other hand (pun intended), soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and individualized exercises have been found to reduce pain and re-injury rate for many issues that may lead to chronic pain like IT band syndrome, piriformis syndrome, and back pain related to a disc injury.
What is your training? Do you have certifications?
I have a B.S. in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition from Springfield College, and I am a Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist that is trained in NeuroMuscular Reprogramming, NeuroKinetic Therapy, and Corrective Exercise.
What have most people come to you for?
I have worked with the following conditions most often:
- neck pain
- low back pain, herniated discs, and sciatica
- shoulder dysfunction and pain
- foot and ankle pain and instability
- knee instability and weakness before and after surgery
- carpal tunnel syndrome
- headaches & migraines
- muscle weakness and loss of balance
How many sessions will it take before I am pain-free?
It depends. Every person’s pain is unique to them, so every treatment program is unique to the individual. This is why you may only need one session and simple lifestyle changes to release your pain. Others may need 10 sessions 2 to 3 times a month. My goal for every session is to send you home feeling better than when you walked in with the information you need to make progress on your own.
Is what you do like physical therapy? Is it like massage?
During the session, you will be taken through different assessments and movements that may resemble a physical therapy session, and you will be laying on a massage table in a relaxing, quiet room that is similar to a massage room. Other than that, everything we will do is unique to your specific issue, your goals, and the evidence-based treatments that will be most effective for you.
Isn’t my pain just going to come back again after a couple days?
If you continue doing things that trigger the pain, it is likely to come back. During every session, I will give you exercises you can do and lifestyle modifications you can make to help you reduce pain and improve function on your own.
What type of manipulation do you do?
I use many techniques throughout a session that mobilize and strengthen different joints and muscles. I will never “adjust” your spine like a chiropractor, diagnose you like a doctor, or try to crack and pop your joints.
Will a session be painful?
You may experience pain during your session as we find what triggers the pain with different movements and tests.
How long are your sessions? What clothing should I wear?
Sessions are 60 minutes long. Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in.
I want to see you for a session, but I live to far away. Can you still help me?
Yes, I offer online video sessions via Skype. During the session, I will guide you through simple evaluations, movements, and lifestyle modifications that will help you reduce pain and improve the quality of your life.
If I still have a question can I reach out to you for an answer?
Yes, of course. Please email me at Tyler@FreeToTransform.com, and I will answer your question within 24 hours.
